Description
I love collecting stuff from 1986. It's very nostalgic for me & '86 will always be known as one of the greatest years for the medium. That said, it was not so kind to the JLA, who fielded one of their weakest lineups ever back then.

I still remember the relief I felt when I saw this cover on the stands, featuring the big guns. It quickly turned into disappointment once I realized the original League wasn't being reformed at the end of this issue. But for a moment there, I had hope!

I so remember feeling how you did back then, Dan! It was shocking how bad the book was during this era. What were the editors thinking anyway? "Yeah, let's get rid of every single classic member and replace them with newly created crappy characters like Vibe, Vixen, etc.". It was nice to see the classics make a comeback on the cover to this issue!
