Description

This Karl Malone painting was to be a basketball card for the 91-92 Upper Deck basketball set. Alan Studt was the artist for the art cards. He did 33 paintings and 27 were used for cards in the 500 card set. The other six paintings weren�t used and Karl Malone was one of them. I talked to Alan Studt and he said Upper Deck was worried the set contained too many star players so 6 were replaced with non star players. Mark Eaton replaced the Karl Malone you see here.
