DescriptionWolverineby Shaheen Beardsley I stumbled upon Shaheen's work on Instagram and loved this rendition of Wolvie, which Shaheen mentioned was loosely inspired by Rafael Grampa. I instantly loved the boots and luchador-esque costume inspired by Grampa's Wolvie costume. Shaheen did this one with pencil and ink and then did a hand painted overlay on acetate. He altered the colors digitally for the final artwork. He's a great young talent and I'm excited to see where his art goes. Social/Sharing |

The Grampa influence was the first thing I thought about when I saw this image. Very fun pick up!
