DescriptionA really cool and fun page by John and very well inked by Karl!John Byrne created this page featuring Superman's foe, the Prankster, Superman's girlfriend (and later wife) Lois Lane and Superman's boss, Morgan Edge. John Byrne's Superman was one of the biggest comic books of the late 1980s. When the superstar artist left Marvel to revamp the Man of Steel in the aftermath of Crisis on Infinite Earths, it sent shock waves through the comic world, and Byrne did not disappoint, presenting a contemporary version of Superman and his friends and foes that endeared the characters to a new generation of fans. The Prankster, who is prominently featured on this page, is one of Superman's earliest foes, first appearing in 1942's Action Comics #51. Social/Sharing |
