Donald Duck daily strip - 1966

Delighted to own a Taliaferro strip featuring Huey, Dewey, and Louie, as he is their original creator. It's a common misconception that Carl Barks or Jack Hanna originated the trio, but while they certainly contributed to developing the characters, it was Al Taliaferro, along with writer Ted Osborne, who first conceived them.

Making their debut in a comic strip on October 17, 1937, six months before the theatrical release of the Disney short "Donald's Nephews," Huey, Dewey, and Louie owe their inception to Taliaferro's creative vision.
