Yet another acclaimed Master of 9th Art who suddenly left us.
May he rest in peace.

Something about the page:
Nice prologue of episode #11 from the series "As de Pique", featuring the famous North American P-51 Mustang. It was often used to escort the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress (as is the "Ace of Spades", protagonist of the story) during the WWII in Europe. In this case they will have to fight with the newest Messerschmitt Me 163 Komet, one of the most revolutionary combat aircrafts produced in those years and certainly the fastest: it could reach the amazing speed of 590 mph, compared with the 440 of the Mustang ... Not always the fastest is the best, though!
