Description

Greg and Tim Hildebrandt acrylic on masonite and signed; 11" x 15"; framed 15" x 18.5"; Card #7 of 1996 Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire card set; Created for the 1996 Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire trading card set. This card, which is card #7 of the set, depicts the powerful Xizor getting his hands dirty. At one point this character was known as one of the most influential characters in the Star Wars universe, and that is fully expressed in this painting by the Brothers Hildebrandt. Notice the deep, dark shadows the emphasize the evil of this character and his intentions, the expressive figure that is trapped in Xizor's grasp, and the always gorgeous color and lighting. Even dark subject matter can be painted beautifully when created by the Brothers Hildebrandt. - Signed by Greg and Tim Hildebrandt
