Dino Busett was born in Milano on the 20th of April in 1940. After spending a short amount of time at an advertising studio, starting from the 1960s he starts collaborating as an illustrator with the famous agency located in Milano for Illustratori di Piero e Rinaldo D’Ami. After it starts a new collaboration with the “Editoriale Dardo” for whom autographed covers: "Capitan Miki", "Grande Blek", "Kinowa", "Collana Supereroica", while for the “Editrice Censio” realized the ones for "Furia", "Tarzan" and "Rintintin".
On behalf of the Mondadori he took part in an important publication of a navy story and collaborated with the alibi of “Superman” and “Batman”.
At the end of the 1960s he illustrates various pieces of the “Enciclopedia Medica” published by the publishing house “Librex”. For the weekly “Tempo” he worked on important illustrations about pirates stories and collaborated on headlines with "Domenica del Corriere", "Epoca" and "Grand Hotel".
In the 1970s he moved to London to work on the publication of “Enciclopedia per ragazzi” on behalf of a Londoner publisher. That time promoted random collaboration with some American publishers.
When he moved back to his own country he took part in the realization of the "Enciclopedia della Fantascienza” published by the publishing house “Del Drago” and started to intensify his activity as painter and sculptor.
At the beginning of the 1980s he moved to Pordenone (where he lives now) to fully devote himself to painting and specifically to portrait painting. Following this path he realized some very important portraits of famous people, some of them belonging to the show business. In Friuli Venezia Giulia he realized some well acclaimed by the critics.
At the moment, even though he keeps doing portraits, he’s experimenting as well.
