Description

I first saw this piece on another site about 15 years ago and was unable to purchase it at that time since the asking price was $150 and was out of my price range. Fast forward to last weekend. This piece finally popped up for sale again and this time I was able to purchase it.

I spoke to Tom Grindberg about it and he said he was experimenting and only did this in pencil, though he typically does his finished pieces in pen/ink. He also stated that Frazetta was a big inspiration for the style he used in this piece.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
