Description

I won a cover recreation by C.C. Beck of Captain Marvel Adventures 4 as a door prize at Houstoncon 75. It was presented to me by C.C. Beck himself! I traded the painting for some comic books and promptly forgot about it. About 40 years later, someone drew my attention to this photograph they'd seen on a chat board about old conventions. The wild thing was that years before seeing this photo for the first time, I bought an original page from Captain Marvel Adventures 4 and framed it with a copy of the comic.
