Description

Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows #8 featured the first appearance of MJ-Venom. Last night I posted her first interior full-splash appearance. Tonight I am posting the cover.

Such a delightfully eerie image of MJ enveloped in the Venom symbiote, as she holds the masks of both Spider-Man (her husband) and Spiderling (her daughter).

I love how Ryan has her emerging from the darkness so that you don't know where the night ends and she begins. The costume has a very cool tribal look to it as well.

Just thrilled to have this in my collection!

More Stegman Spidey goodness - I can always count on you, Paul! An effective image here, as you note with the black background and symbiote blending together, and you gotta love that sly smile on MJ...you gotta think she's at least a little curious to see where this goes now that the symbiote's on the other foot :) Congrats, man!
