A magician with a pencil is right. That man draws a lovely face...and body...it's aaaaall good.
Hahaha there are definitely parallels between one's relationship with art and a romantic relationship. "If you love something, set it free, if it comes back it's yours, if not it was never meant to be" and all that jazz. It did come back, and I guess I have now (at least symbolically) put a ring on it. Because it's mine now ... ...it's...my precious...yesssss ... my precioussss...and I shall keeps it with me alwayssss...that filthy Bagginses triesss to steals it but he won't get hisss filthy handsss...uh oh, that took a dark turn ... that's a different kind of ring lol. This is the kind of comment reply you get at 4:21 in the morning. Back to bed!!

That panel of Kitty phasing through the floor, followed by Colossus bursting through that same floor, makes this one an A+ page in my book. Great add!
What a fantastic and unique concept for a Batman cover. Essentially facing off against the same enemy dressed in drastically different ways and wielding various weapons. And you're right. There are very few covers featuring the slippery Mad Hatter. And in this image, you can just see the wheels turning in Batman's head as he formulates his strategy to take down all these Mad Hatter iterations. Bravo once again, Bill!!
Sounds like you got this gem at a great price. Congrats, and fantastic add!
Thanks, man, that is a heckuva nice comment! :-)
So basically, Cap was fighting Wolverine (which Mike Zeck drew as the cover we all know) and then Iron Fist came up and said "May I cut in?" And Wolverine said "Sure, bub, this place is deaaad anyway" (Swingers) -- so Iron Fist and Cap started fighting, which Mike also drew, and you grabbed that drawing for your amazing collection? You lucky guy! It looks incredible!! So crisp and clean. Thanks for sharing!
A long journey indeed, but the result is spectacular!! Thanks for sharing the piece and the story.
Great cover! I love the five different scenes playing out around the central image of Fury. Especially the outer space ones. Congrats!
I totally agree with you. Kaare's style is his own, but it definitely has nods towards previous greats. I love the fun he has with Spidey poses. McFarlane & Larsen were the first to really push the boundaries in that area, but Kaare takes it even further.
EVERYONE loves Ororo! Sweet nostalgic JRJr X-Men page with a nice build to an exciting last panel. Congrats!

This page is laid out SO great, with the action getting closer and closer to you until the final pay-off explosion ... and awesome Spidey quip. Sal B at his best!
Beautiful page! What a great Galactus panel! And I really like seeing Reed's powers being showcased like this.
I just read this issue again as part of the FF by John Byrnme Omnibus vol 1, and it still one of my favorite stories. And this cover? EPIC to the Nth degree!!!! Wow wow wowie wow. Major congrats!
I am always changing my mind with my collecting. Man, this cover must be EPIC in person, especially being frice-up! (I figured that after 'once, twice and thrice' you'd have 'frice,' though it doesn't quite follow the pattern). I love this image! Major congrats.
This is SO epic, James, congrats!
It's definitely not a pose he could hold for long, haha! I like your comparsion to a stained glass window, Brian. I hadn't thought of that.
"Holy Web-Spinning Batman!" totally works for me too, West :-)
