I know right?  Even though the two pages aren't sequential, they work well that way.  We start with Alicia feeling the tentacles of the monster, but then the monster exerts mental control over her so that she sees it as a cute puppy dog, then BAM!  The dog explodes back into the huge many-tentacled monster!!!  ... as the Thing stands by, smiling, cuz he still sees the dog.

THIS is mind-blowing!  Amazing add, Bill!!

That's an interesting back story to a fantastic cover.  And dang, that warrior woman is so freakin' hot!   But can I "axa" you a question?  What's up with the contemplative robot?  He doesn't quite fit with the vibe of the other two characters (I am curious, but mostly I just wanted to do the "axa" joke).  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Oh my gosh, I am SO happy you got this one!  Cuz I'm the one who put it in the ComicLink auction!  Haha!  What kismet.  This was a very early acquisition for me.  Don't know why I never posted it on CAF.  Guess it slipped through the cracks.  But I have always really liked it, so it was tough to let go.  VERY glad it's in your collection now!
