Ha!  Oh but then we would have lost one of the most eloquently written bits of cinematic dialogue ever to grace the silver screen.  (Plus I would have lost the suave pick-up line that has served me so well in bars across this great nation of ours, especially down here in Florida where it really hits home and makes the girls swoon).  "I hate sand.  It gets everywhere."  Why it's worthy of Shakespeare!

Exactly!  Interestingly, in the previous volume of FF that recently ended, Ben was transformed by Doom back to his human form, which was meant to be a slap in the face to Reed by Victor, as in "Look how easily I accomplish what you have spent years trying to achieve."  And also to weaken the team of course, though in a  new twist, since Ben had lost his powers, the rest of the team members started to lose theirs.  Which had never been a dynamic before as far as I know.  I took it to mean that they have been such a tight knit family for so long now that they are not just connected emotionally, but now physically.  And it also added a sense of urgency to get Ben back to his Thing form, which led to a really fun story arc.  Anyway, yes, the FF is all about family.  And kicking Doom's sorcerous butt of course...which we'll see if they can accomplish when I post my next two pages from this issue.  

A multiverse saga?  Marvel?  They'd never do that.  ;-)

That is so cool!  So happy I could bring another reader (and friend!) on board for this particularly fun ride. I'm excited to see where issue 3 takes us, as there is so much time travel involved.  Kinda reminds me of elements from the Back To The Future movies, which I love so much.

Hmmm...Somehow I missed this one …Fantastic page! With all due respect to Ruben, I really dig those top two panels of Cody Sun-Childe.  They really pop! Like you, a big attraction for me of Star Wars (and other sci fi classics) are the strange looking aliens and weird creatures.   Of course panels 4-6 are icing on the cake.  Great grab!

Thanks for the shout out!  I was having a big birthday bash zoom at the time, but I will watch on rewind.  And regarding a Hulkette vs Smurfette issue, don't go giving Marvel any more crazy ideas (though of course I LOVE that idea, and I WOULD buy the cover).  So ... until Hulkette becomes a Radio City Rockette, Make Mine Marvel!
