Hi,
Thanks for dropping by my gallery. As a child of the Silver Age I think you can see my collections shows a special fondness for certain obscure elements of the Silver Age. I'm a fan of characters like Blackhawk, Tomahawk, DC 50s western charcters ( I think Mark Waid and I are the only ones who remember Foley of the Fighting 5th) as well as the Marvel Western Characters.
I think it is safe to say my favorite DC character is Green Arrow.
My favorite Marvel hero is Captain America, the key Avengers period for me is Avengers 4-100. I loved Cap's "Kooky Quartet , especially Hawkeye; my favorite Avenger. I also have a special place in my heart for the secondary Avengers characters like the Swordsman and the Tales to Astonish Giant-Man period of issues 65-69 featuring the best Giant-Man uniform. Although the very first Goliath uniform was pretty neat also, before the numerous tweaks.
I also have a keen interest in the MLJ/Mighty/Archie/Red Circle characters, the 60s Charlton Action Heroes, I loved the Ditko Blue Beetle, Wood's THUNDER Agents, the Harvey, Black Cat and I have an abiding passion for the Justice Society of America.
It was love at first sight from the moment I picked up JLA 21 and saw that gorgeous Murphy Anderson cover introducing the Justice Society to the Silver Age. I have followed the Justice Society for decades.
I'm always interested in JSA related art, especially All Star Squadron pages.
I think you'll see these tastes reflected in my galleries.
