I loved Red Ryder as a kid. I could not wait for the daily delivery of the Patriot Ledger, my home town newspaper every afternoon so I could get to the "funnies" and read the adventure and stories of the Jackson Twins. Dixie Dugan, Ally Oop and my favorite Red Ryder. As I got older I devoured the Whitman books that featured Red, Little Beaver, the Duchess and all the other characters delineated by Fred Harmon or as I have later learned, his ghosts. Getting a Red Ryder has been a dream of mine since I started collecting and as you can see I have had a bit of luck. Enjoy.
