The mid sixties were a great time for comic fans not only did we have the big two, DC and Marvel, we also had a couple of other companies trying to crack the market. One of them was Tower who created the T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents line. Led by Wally Wood It wasn't DC, yet had some of their great artists,Gil Kane(and just how close was the Atom's costume to Menthors?), Mike Sekowsky. Marvels' Steve Ditko, Chic Stone, Dick Ayers Dan Adkins and of course Woody. Plus Reed Crandall, George Tuska and others. It was a wonderful line that died far too quickly. Finding pages is tough, but even though I have not been able to purchase any, I do see them on the market and it is a comfort to know they have escaped the shredder. Sooner or later I'll have a Wood in this collection but until then, here's what you can enjoy.
