Our sincere thanks to Rick for an incredible job on what surely is one of the best Christmas Card commissions we have done.
Normally we would have someone else color it, but when Rick explained what needed to be done, I asked if Rick would color it because I knew no one else would be able to achieve his vision.
Give the coloring a second look,there is such subtle quality to it.
Plus, Rick did such a great job on my two favorite Charlton Characters and took my original concept and made it spectacular.
Initially Rick told me this was the first time he was asked to draw Captain Atom, I learned later on it was also his first Ted Kord-Blue Beetle.
What a shame Rick did not get a chance to do these characters in a published DC magazine because he totally owns them!
