The MLJ-Mighty heroes caught my fancy in that silver period when Marvel was in full bloom, the Legion was a must read and the Justice Society's adventures with the JLA every summer were far too infrequent. I had been aware of Archie's effort with the Fly and the Jaguar, but they really didn't impress me. But then that first cover of the Mighty Crusaders came out and Kirby clone that it was, I was hooked on them. The cover to Mighty Crusaders, issue 4 is one of my favorite covers of all time, 'Too Many Heroes'.... so much potential. Since there is so little original material out there, Commissions seem to be the way to go. Imagine if Archie had really tried to develop and support this line instead of it's half hearted attempts throughout the decades? Enjoy!
