Murphy Anderson

When I think of great DC Silver Age artists, Murphy Anderson is one of the top three to come to mind. The other two being Gil Kane and Carmine Infantino, two artists that Murphy made look better with his exquisite inks.

But Murphy was also a great penciler and his delineation of Hawkman and the JSA team ups in Showcase and the Brave and the Bold were the stuff of which lifetime memories are made. Needless to say I have been able to make those memories a bit more vivid with the acquisition of Anderson art.
