I loved Marvel Westerns as a kid. But because I was such a superhero boy I could not bring myself to buy them off the stands unless there was a team-up. So I would buy them at the five and dime with the covers torn off or partially clipped to read the stories. I could so kick myself now for not spending those 12 cents. But while superhero favorites changed throughout the years the Marvel Westerns retain a soft spot in my heart. So there was little doubt when I began collecting art I would pick up a a page or three.
