Description

I asked Gary Martin to do his take on one of my favorite Marvel Western covers. There were few more dynamic western images in my childhood than Dick Ayers original conception of Matt Hawk leaping into a posse of outlaws.

Gary stayed pretty close to the original and I can understand why sometimes you just can't improve on a classic. That said, check out the incredible ink work on Two-Gun's boots.

Spectacular! I've seen a few of Gary's pieces on his site and have been considering a commission. This pushes me over the top. Very nice addition to a great gallery!

I don't like the Kid's chances here. I do love this recreation, however.
