Description

Long before the gritty, ultra-realistic style that is currently status quo in comics became so popular, Neal Adams introduced his own brand of realism, opening the door wide for all those who followed. And consequently, he changed the way we looked at our heroes. His work with Batman gave us a whole new perspective on the Dark Knight legend and his numerous Bat covers on the Batman and Detective Comics titles were spectacular. This covers spotlights and introduces the new Bat-enemy, Philip "Ten-Eyed" Reardon, and gives deeper meaning to "blind as a bat."
