Description

Well, I've had the other Studio guys represented with multiple pieces in my collection for 35 years, but the right Kaluta has always eluded me. This must be it.
This was drawn for the original 1980 portfolio, associated with the stage play, two years before it was ever published in comic form.
This image was used (I believe) in the stage program, and it was printed in color on the cover of a European magazine. It was also used, more recently, for the cover of the Starstruck Artist's Edition.
My collecting is definitely slowing down, but it's nice to check off this box.

This Kaluta deserves more love on CAF! An iconic piece that exemplifies his talent for drawing the female figure combined with a techie background. The pen and ink work is as incredible. This is such an iconic piece.
