Description

Deadpool the Duck #2 published cover art by Jay Fosgitt. Drawn on 11"x17" art board. Jay did the pencils in a blue color (not to be mistaken with blue lines) and then finished with traditional ink on top. This cover is the Looney Toons style 1:25 incentive variant.

Jacopo Camagni the interior artist for this series drew all the art digitally. I'm fairly certian David Nakayama also drew the main covers for the series digitally. The variant cover by Dave Johnson does not feature Deadpool the Duck on it. I believe Ron Lim and possibly Chip Zdarsky's variant covers might be the only art for Deadpool the Duck's 1st appearance. Jay Fosgitt & Dave Johnson's covers for issue 2 are the only pieces of art for that issue. So this is a very early Deadpool Duck appearance and 1 of only 4 pieces of art from the first 2 issues.

I've added the published pages from issue one below which has the origin of Deadpool the Duck. Rocket has space rabies and while attacking Deadpool he bites his teleporter. Howard the Duck is next to Deadpool when this happens and the malfunctioning teleporter causes their bodies to merge. On a side note the Deadpool the Duck character was popular enough it warranted it's own Funko pop!
