Description

Since Greg Hildebrandt began his ÔKid StuffÕ series in 2014, he has become fascinated by the idea of painting giant sized portraits of his favorite characters. He is particularly interested in the darker characters, and as a result, he has named this new series, ÔThe Dark SideÕ. Greg believes that every characterÑgood or badÑhas a dark side worth exploring.

This is the third painting in the series. After painting both the Joker and Harley Quinn, Greg knew there was only one appropriate character to paint next: Batman! Many know the dark and tragic tale of Batman's origins. He is a hero with a truly dark side, who is constantly fighting against Gotham's criminals and villains, and his own troubled nature. Despite all of this, one of the great things about the world's greatest detective is that he never gives up!
