11x17" Marvel artboard has pen and ink original art for page 10 of "Superior Spider-Man" Vol. 2 #9, published by Marvel Sept. 2019. Art is by Mike Hawthorne, noted for his work on "Deadpool, Queen & Country, Conan: Road Of Kings" and other titles. He has been nominated for both Harvey and Eisner awards. Art has been inked by Wade von Grawbadger. Page has four panels, featuring the Superior Spider-Man (the mind of Otto Octavius in Peter Parker's body) about to strike man, only to be stopped by Spider-Man (Peter Parker), who webs up the man. Superior Spider-Man appears in first two panels while Spider-Man appears in all but first. This page marks one of just a few times both characters appear on the same page. Top margin has penciled "SSM" title abbreviation w/issue/page numbers as well as Hawthorne's name. Hawthorne has signed his name at lower right. Art is clean and Exc. Wonderful example from this popular Spider-Man storyline by one of Marvel's hottest artists.
