DescriptionThis is the VERY first time that Gil Kane and John Romita ever worked together on a comic book, and what an "AMAZING 2 issue story line we had with the VERY first time a major character DIES in the "AMAZING SPIDER-MAN" title! **** THIS PARTICULAR Semi-Splash page was also used for a poster as well as a greeting card back in the early 1970s! I'd rather have this splash versus the actual cover to this issue!Social/Sharing |

Killer page.. that last panel is sweet!!
HOWEVER I may have to take it into photoshop and make a version for me with a large graphic text added to the bottom to go after all of the wheres

did you know this exact page was used for the front of marvel greetting card!!!
i gotta look for it as the inside punchline i cant remember now

I absolutely loved when Kane was inked by some of the best in the business, Cockrum, Adams, and yep, Romita, awesome pages, congrats!!
