I have no memory of the story details anymore, but I remember really liking this when it came out. Though as an artist follower, I've long wondered if my positive memories of Hawkworld are because of the art, or if I did also enjoy the story. I've wanted to reread it for many years, but always saw it was out of print. But I went o the comic shop last week and found a copy in their "40% off the US cover price and no sales tax" section, and bought it! Soon I'll finally figure out if the story was good or not. Either way though, glad to have it just for the art. A good story will just be a bonus!
