90s Rogue mid shot sketch cover commission by Mirka Andolfo.

This was a pre-commission during NYCC 2019, however I was unable to attend at the last minute and asked my friend, who was attending, to pick it up at her table. Unfortunately she was so busy that by the time she started work on my commission it was near the end of the last day and she had only gotten down rough pencils. She took it back home to finish it.

Once again it took a couple of months to hear of any news of my commission, but I managed to get an update on my commission through her Instagram live sketching videos. Apparently she had been quite busy promoting her creator-owned books she didn't have time to get to the number of commissions she had been holding off. Then COVID-19 happened. This gave some time to finish off all the commissions she wasn't able to do, including mine which I watched her finish through her Instagram live feed which was actually fun to watch.

She sent the finished commissions to ComicSketchArt in the USA and it took over a month to finally receive my commission, due to shipping delays.

But I'm happy with my commission overall and I have no intention of letting this experience prevent me from getting more commissions from her in the future. I'm too much of a fan of her art.
