Here�s a fun one! I finished inking this piece last night. In the 1970s, which in my opinion was the best time to read comics, Spider-man appeared in ads in the comic books selling Hostess Twinkies. The ads were mini comics, with Spider-man facing off against a different villain each time. Spider-Man would �defeat� each villain in the ad, not by strength or intelligence, but by giving them Hostess Twinkies which would placate their anger. (Great stuff!). For, what I assume were copyright reasons, Spider-Man never faced any established Marvel comics villains, but instead fought characters created solely for the ad. So here is my drawing of Spider-Man and all the villains he ever faced in one of those fabulous Twinkie ads! I also included all the strange and wonderful villains he faced in the Power Records stories of the 1970s. Enjoy! (Any similarity to Web of Spider-Man #50 is purely intentional)
