Description

The world of comic illustration is wide and deep, and I am constantly discovering the work of artists, both newcomers and seasoned warriors. One can also see that the vast majority of my collection is Big 2 - that's what I grew up with - but it's interesting to discover that I can still unfold a bit and find incredible art and stories in more diverse comics. A new generation of comic art dealers and reps are doing a fantastic job of promoting their work to a wider audience.

Troy Nixey is such an artist. The pandemic provided an opportunity for me to discover his work, and also to acquire this incredible commission.

Pretty much the gold standard for what one dreams for from a commission. Huge congrats! Nixey has been on fire lately.
