Peter, Mary Jane & Gwen by Derek Charm

Back in Fall 2018, Derek Charm - Eisner winner on "Jughead" - was a guest at FACTS. While visiting his booth, I looked around a bit and asked for a sketch.

I wanted something typically Archie Comics, but with protagonists a bit closer to my heart. So I went for something with the feeling of those Amazing Spidey issues by Stan Lee & John Romita Sr, where the love triangle was still a thing.

We see Peter Parker and his Spidey Sense warning him for the looming looks from both Mary Jane & Gwen. Of course, while sharing a typical "Archie" milkshake.

Interestingly enough, I also have a barely started first version, which is vertical - instead of horizontal like this one. Size (on both) is 9x12.
