Description

Chuck Patton was (and is) the penciling maestro behind all those Justice League, Nightwing, Vigilante and Teen Titans comics you read and loved in the 1980s. I jumped at the chance to get a commission from him when I had the chance a few years ago. As you can see from this before-and-after image, ace inker Bill Anderson went to town with an array of inking, hatching and stippling techniques to complete this scene of Acroyear and Marionette from the Micronauts posing on a big ol' chunk of Spartak. Both Bill and Chuck created their own colorized versions of this drawing, so you may see some prints floating around the hobby whenever comic cons become a thing again. My thanks to both artists for being so great to work with.
