Phantom #8 AS IT REALLY IS NOW!

FINALLY HAKE RELEASES AN HONEST PICTURE OF THIS PAINTING. WORSE THAN I THOUGHT.

Ok, here I go again. Another masterpiece by George Wilson SEVERELY damaged by the sun. These paintings just will not take the sunlight. The blues turn a washed out light violet color. This is a prime example. It is still a very nice piece but look at the background behind the rainbow. The blue is just gone! And the darker colors have faded as well.

I dread it for whoever wins this piece and takes it out from behind the matting. They will then see what the colors used to look like. Sad. I wrote this before Hake honestly showed the whole painting. I hate to say I told you so.

Please, for the love of God, take these pieces out for just a little while, enjoy them, and then put them back up. Once they are gone, they are gone. And if you just have to leave them out, take a really good picture of them before you leave them out, so you will be able to see what they looked like when they were right. And hopefully post it here so at least the image will never be lost.
