I was looking on Ebay some 12 or so years ago when this popped up.It was only up for 3 days and was actually put up by the Wrightsons themselves.I was very lucky to get this because they put 2 prices on it.One at a starting price and one at 100 dollars more to buy it now.Well,I put the starting price and left it at that.So for the next 3 days I waited to see if anyone would use the buy it now price.I couldn't believe it no one bid on it and I got it for a very reasonable price.One of the main reasons for going after this piece is because a few years back I had sold my 2 original Swamp Thing pages and realized I had for the first time "sellers remorse".I'm sure we all have experienced this as collectors nowdays.Well,I did feel so much better after that and I did eventually buy back one of those pages,but that's another story coming up.

This is amazing!
I think I remember Wrightson telling me that DC only allowed him to do 1 or 2 Swamp Thing drawings (commissions) a year. I was very pleased with the one I purchased from him back in the day.

nice Ebay story of old, I'm too young to have stories like this but it's cool to hear about and this is a tremendous Bernie Swamp Thing piece.
