Description

Here's a nice piece from Bill Black's first published fanzine, Paragon Illustrated #1 from 1969. Black was a huge Captain Marvel fan, and attempted to publish a fanzine devoted to new Marvel Family stories (he wrote, edited, penciled & inked the stories), even printing a batch of books. When he was informed the copyright was still owned and enforced by DC, he destroyed the printed copies, but this page survived.
