Batman: Shadow of the Bat #90 Pg. 21

Happy Batman Day, everyone! I'll be honest, I actually haven't read issue #90 of Shadow of the Bat, but something about this entire conversation between Batman and Lynx strikes a cord with me. These days, we don't often have Batman philosophizing about what it means to be a superhero, or a hero in general, but I feel this page really lays it bare.

I'm sure entire essays could be written on this page alone, but I'll refrain from doing so. Let it be said however, the dialogue is remarkably engaging, and even though we can't see what's come before or after this page, we really don't need to. Everything here is enough to spark conversation and make others reflect on what it truly means to be heroic.
