DescriptionThis is a long time coming.I’m a HUGE Arthur Adams fan. I still remember the Longshot Cover with She Hulk and Spidey. His rendition of Spidey is on the best I’ve ever seen. Over the years I’ve been lucky to get him on a few of my jam commissions. Well back at SDCC 2014 I took the plunge and requested a bigger home style commission. At the time he told me it was going to be awhile but I didn’t care. I plunked down my deposit and patiently waited. I really tried not to bug him but whenever I did ask about he was kind to respond. Flashforward a few months ago when I was reading the Marvel Solicitation and saw where he was going to do the Variant of Amazing Spider Man #50. I knew I had to have it with out seeing what it was. I inquired with Arthur but had to wait since it was drawn up yet. Well a few weeks ago Arthur sends me the Pencils and then shortly after that I get the inks and colors. It had the classic shot of Spidey with New Villain Kindred and his arch nemesis the Green Goblin. I was over the moon especially this being an oversized cover. If this doesn’t define grail I don’t know what will. Mike Social/Sharing |

Nothing compares to seeing Adams work in person. When you sprung this on the board yesterday I almost fainted. You scored big time.

Congrats man, Arthur Adams does it again! Terrific pose, classic spiderman villian. You cannot ask for more in a spiderman cover.

Sincere congrats, man! No question when looking at this why you're so stoked to get it. Color me green with envy :) Trademark cartoony detailed AA goodness throughout! And you got a bit of the old mixed with a bit of the new in terms of the 2 villains flanking our hero. I'm sure you've been poring over this constantly since you got it!
