Fantastic final panel of one of the stories I love the most about Mickey Mouse of the great Floyd Gottfredson: "The Plumber's Helper".

When I was a child, reading this wonderful story for the first time, I immediately fell in love with the character of Joe Piper. For me today to have in my Disney collection this particular character created by the fantasy of Floyd Gottfredson, it is another dream come true for me..

I’m not aware of another surviving daily of this story, therefore this is the only one surviving graphic testimony.

First published September 8th 1938, on double-tone board in excellent condition.
Size: 7 x 7 inches

The other three missing panels of this Mickey Mouse Daily have been faithfully recreated in design and lettering by a friend who consulted the publication "Topolino d'oro" # 22 and the fourth volume of Fantagraphics dedicated to Gottfredson.

Fantastico pannello finale di una delle storie che amo di più di Topolino del grande Floyd Gottfredson: "The Plumber's Helper".

Quando ero bambino, leggendo per la prima volta questa meravigliosa storia, mi sono subito innamorato del personaggio di Joe Piper.
Per me oggi avere nella mia collezione Disney questo eccentrico personaggio creato dalla fantasia di Floyd Gottfredson, è un altro sogno che si avvera.

Non sono a conoscenza di un'altro pannello o striscia giornaliera sopravvissuta di questa storia, quindi questa è l'unica testimonianza grafica esistente.

Gli altri tre pannelli mancanti di questa Mickey Mouse Daily, sono stati fedelmente ricreati nel disegno e nel lettering, da un amico che ha consultato la pubblicazione "Topolino d'oro" # 22 e il quarto volume di Fantagraphics dedicato a Gottfredson.
