Description
Thor's milestone 400th issue was and is one of my very favorite comics due mainly to the climax of the fantastic War Of The Pantheons story-line with Seth and the Egyptian gods.

Ron Frenz and Joe Sinnott were hitting on all cylinders on Thor and this awesome action page also features one of my other favorite Avengers, Black Knight and an incredible bottom panel that reminds me of the intro to the classic Thor cartoon from Marvel's 1960's Gran-Tray TV shows . Thor 400 and this entire arc remains one of my very favorite comic stories in Marvel's history.

I remember this issue.  Hated Dane being used as a weapon instead of a character.  but still great story and great art

Wow, another awesome Frenz/Sinnott page! Dizzying action, and an Avenger using another Avenger as a weapon. Sweet all around. Congrats

Superb example from the long and extremly nice + fun-to-read Kirby/Lee-esque run by writer/chief (then) Tom DeFalco and Ron and those issues inked by Joe are always an especial pleasure to behold by Odin's bristling beard !

The battle against Seth was the first thor story I ever read, so it will always hold a special place in my heart. Love Frenz & Sinnott together!

Yet another great example from the Frenz Thor run, which I know you love.  Not hard to see why which pages like this!  Frenz brought a cool quality of every panel feeling like its own mini splash.  Congrats!

Black Knight was always such a smart character. Always using his head.
