Rymy-Eetu (1934) by Erkki Tanttu

Erkki Tanttu (1907-1985) was a Finnish graphic artist and illustrator. His comic strip "Rymy-Eetu" was published in various weekly magazines from 1930 until 1973 making it one of the longest-running comic strips in Finland. The main character Rymy-Eetu (word-for-word translation "Rumble-Eddie") was a chubby guy with a walrus-like moustache, and the strip was mostly based on non-verbal humor. Originally published in a Finnish weekly news magazine "Suomen Kuvalehti" #38, 1934 (cover date September 15, 1934).
