Description

Alex Raymond was a master draftsman and a remarkable storyteller -- universally celebrated as one of the finest comic strip artists ever to touch pen and brush to paper. Flash Gordon was created in an attempt to cash in on the success of Buck Rogers, and it soon outsold its 25th-century rival, becoming an even bigger and longer-lasting strip.

The inspiration, along with Buck Rogers, of all future Outer Space Adventures. Includingthe Star Wars and Star Trek series. Still the greatest in my mind.
