Description
Captain America leaps off of the Nazi train he's just booby-trapped, seconds before it explodes. Hitch and Neary put amazing detail into the bricks of the bridge as well as the surrounding landscape.

Every panel is gorgeously rendered (every time I think I have settled on a favorite, I look at the others and end up reconsidering... but maybe panel 3...?  No, scratch that...panel 1.  Nope....) and the dramatic storytelling is simply a cut above.  A WONDERFUL set of pages - congrats!

And any comment is incomplete without a shoutout to Paul Neary and his incredible inking.  Not only for his architectural detail (look at all those BRICKS), but how he's able to switch gearrs so fluidly from panel to panel...  Breathtaking "widescreen" vista in panel 1, speed lines and drama in panel 2, incredible underwater shot in panel 3, and another widescreen shot of realistic destruction/consequence - all elements that made 'The Ultimates' such a singularly unique reading experience.  Beautiful page!  Congrats again!
