I've never read Brenda Starr but I've seen the old movie serial and liked it. But I LOVE Ramona Fradon's work-- absolutely love it-- her METAMORPHO is just brilliant and her early AQUAMAN stuff is unmatched.

Here's a great original strip published June 30th 1984.
