Incredible. No words. My longest wait for a commission but never worried and well worth the wait. James does not work in this size currently and I'm not sure if he will again so I am ecstatic to have squeezed in there for this incredible piece.

Any fan of NGE will know the scene in this commission. The awakening of Unit-01. Zeruel has torn through both Unit-02 and Unit-00 and has penetrated furhter into NERV HQ than any Angel before. Unit-01 has rejected the dummy plug and Shinji finally decides to return. After running out of power, Unit-01 activates and goes Berserk showing the true nature of the Eva. Regenerating it's own arm, utterly demolishing Zeruel, then consuming its S2 Engine to be totally free of all human constraints.

James chose everything about the commission and not surprisingly chose one of the most intense and gruesome battles in the series. Love love love it! Much gratitude to James and Felix for once again blowing past what I imagined possible.

Man, that must be a sight in person. A BIG piece, and love all the greys throughout. Scary, too, in a great way! I'm not familar with the scene or NGE in general but can appreciate great OA when I see it. Huge score here. Congrats!
