It was fun looking at these Nick Fury pages with their gobs of white-out and the insight they give us into the perfectionist mindset of the young Barry Smith. Sure, his style was rough and too Kirbyesqe, but this page, in particular, shows that he was a pretty good story-teller even then (and I love that last panel with its fish-eyed-lens effect).
