DescriptionAn example of Walt Simonson's work for DC in the 1970s. I wonder whether the pencils looked more "Simonsony" before Jack Abel inked it. Or perhaps he hadn't yet developed the style for which he became known on Thor and X-Factor. Shadow Lass and Shrinking Violet show themselves to be formidable in hand-to-hand combat here. This idea carried forward into Mark Waid's 2005 "threeboot," in which they were basically the Legion's resident assassins. Social/Sharing |
