Great action cover that I remember from reading my brother's copy of this issue when it was new. You could always count on Cockrum for a great cover design.

Stunning action cover from a great book--G.I.Joe Special Missions! I remember reading this comic every month, fully enjoying the dangerous missions and the crazy stunts they would puill off every month. This cover by Dave Cockrum and Bob McLeod features a Tomahawk helicopter on an attack mission as an enemy soldier aims a RPG weapon at it. I always loved the authenticity the artists put into drawing the army equipment they featured, even if the artists aometimes stretched the boundaries of what they could actually do and what they couldn't. Still, they always told poulse-pounding stories that young readers like me loved. Great find, congrats!
