Description

What makes an A+/top tier page? Main character(s) in action? A splashy image of said main character? An A+ artist with an A+ character?

This page definitely falls in to the latter category, with the bonus of that A+ artist inking himself (though Al Williamson inks would have been more than welcome). Wolverine stalking through an abandoned asylum as written by Marv Wolfman and published in 1990.

Interestingly there are not that many costumed Wolverine pages by Buscema out there. Excellent example!

I prefer Big John's inks on his own pencils to any other inker, including greats like Palmer and Sinnott.
