10.75x16.25" artboard has Alex Saviuk's pen and ink original art for page 23 of Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 1 #297, published by Marvel Feb. 1988. Art has been inked by Vince Colletta. Art features seven panels, showing Spidey arriving home in his black (symbiote) costume, peeling off the top of the costume to reveal bruises from his recent fight w/Doctor Octopus. Panels show him worrying about Mary Jane as he walks around his apartment in half his Spider-Man suit. First panel features Spidey in full costume while rest show Peter Parker in half-suit. Saviuk has signed at bottom margin in black felt tip pen. Back has Marvel copyright inkstamp. Top margin has inked title and number and uneven edge as trimmed w/some minor surface paper lift at top center. Last panel and lower right corner has moderate glue staining. Pin holes at bottom corners. VF overall.
