I was sad to hear about Tom Lyles death in 2019. I never had the opportunity to meet him but he was a good artist and I enjoyed his work. Tom Lyle was the artist on the first 3 Robin mini series during the 1990's that made the character popular and propelled him onto an ongoing. I thought he drew a great Robin! I was already a fan.

For me it was, Lyle's earlier series, Starman that made me a fan. Starman created by Roger Stern and Tom Lyle was a great and fun read. It came out just as I was starting to read more comics. Stayed with it until the end and I have fond memories of it.

I was lucky enough to find and buy this cover a few months before Tom passed.
Thanks Mr. Lyle for the joy and entertainment you provided.

Fantastic cover! I think this series was great, and this cover was a real stand out.
